The Breakdown

Matt’s High Soda is a THC-infused soda company based out of Sacramento, California. I produced some work, mostly illustrations, for them starting in 2019 while I was still in school. The original inspiration was Jim Phillips’ surf illustrations, and the California grunge surf style that he was popular for. When my school obligations became too much for me to handle in conjunction with working, I stopped doing illustrative work for the company, and didn’t get to see the project all the way to the end. However, for the purpose of this portfolio, I wanted to show some of the work that I did for them and how I feel it could be used within the brand now.
